Municipal By-laws - copies of the Municipal By-laws are available at the Village office. Questions regarding the by-laws should be directed to the Village clerk through the Village office.

Building Permits - The following is an excerpt from the web site of the Royal District Planning Commission to which the Village of Cambridge-Narrows belongs..."Since June 2002, building permits are required for the construction of a new building or structure as well as the demolition, relocation, alteration or replacement of an existing building or structure.

As the homeowner, you are responsible for obtaining the necessary permit(s). If you choose to have your contractor take out a permit on your behalf, make sure that it's done before the project gets started."

The hours of the village office are Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 8:15am until 2:30pm.

Are you interested in attending a village council meeting? Meetings are scheduled on the second Monday of every month, 7:30pm at the Municipal Building. Should those meetings fall on a holiday Monday, then the meeting will be moved to the Tuesday.
